Hello World…

Creating a photographer’s website is so complex these days, even an old technologist like myself. Squarespace does provide a very good software-as-a-service (SaaS) capability that, quite frankly, makes what would have been a nightmare process into something more reasonable. What I find difficult is the search engine optimisation (SOE) settings, which feels more like creating a spiders web than content.

That all said, I hope this finds the right audience and that I provide content that keeps my followers interested. My intention is to create blogging content on a weekly basis, covering some of the photography adventures based around fine art, street and landscape photography.

This blog is (we what we old programmers call) an “Hello World” pretext to some of the more specific (and hopefully interesting) blogs to follow.
